Anxiety is not rude. Depression is not selfish. Schizophrenia is not wrong. Eating disorders are not a choice. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is not crazy. Mental illness isn’t self-centred, anymore than cancer is self-centred. It’s a medical illness.

Anonymous asked: To the person who said they wanted to buy a packet of cigarettes after watching AHS Coven DONT DO IT. I started when I was 11 and have been smoking 20 a day for 12 years now - if I average that at £5 a packet (they are actually about £6.30 a packet today but that is being generous with the cost of inflation) it means that I have spent £21,900 on something which makes me smelly, out of breath and die younger - and what's worse is even though that is enough to buy an Audi, I still cannot stop!
You started when you were 11!? Yeah, my friend smokes and always complains about not having money, so I did the math for her. She spends over $1,200 a year on cigarettes. If she stopped, she’d have money. And stop being out of breath when we work out.
